Last year at the Project Management Institute (PMI)® Global Congress in Chicago, Illinois, I recorded about a dozen interviews. Timely message for all PM’s. For myself I could see where in 2019 I need to connect feedback to the team members where our tactics are fitting into the 2019 vision for Engineers in my region and organization.
Also, for my improvement goal – I need to continue ” choosing to play” on the field of Strategic PM teams so I need to boldly share where my team ” use the contingency plan to quickly recover and continue on reaching the customers goal.” Demonstrating Why the tactics will be steps to solving this problem for our customer: Tie-in the Vision to the tasks my team is doing so that we are all connected to the Vision.
Thank you for sharing ” think and act as the strategic leaders. Then connect this to what my team is accomplishing to solve for our customers pains a solution. This was a real win in thinking strategy. Great Podcast topic!
