Critical Path Modeling Using Microsoft Project: Lesson 2 Leveraging Work and Predecessor Types to Structure the Plan
January 19 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
This course provides an overview of how to manage a project’s resources, timeline and cost through effective critical path modeling using Microsoft Project. This step by step approach addresses some of the common challenges in project estimating, including limited resource availability, multiple parallel activities, support activities, and accounting for time off, sick leave and minor changes. Unlock the power of MS Project’s leveling feature and start your projects off on the right foot by attending this course.
- The second class will begin with a review of the various work and predecessor types within MS Project, and how they support modeling the project’s critical path.
- You will then learn how structure project plans so that they leverage the calendars, work types and dependencies effectively to determine the optimal project plan for the resources and work required.
