Event Description:

Many organizations use Microsoft Planner because it’s free if you have an Enterprise Plan! This is good news, but unfortunately it is difficult to report across multiple plans; the reporting options simply haven’t been built by Microsoft. To address this need I’ve created and published a solution that enables you to bring Planner tasks and assignments into Power BI which can be deployed by anyone who has access to the Power Platform.

Learning Objectives:

  • How to use Microsoft Planner to plan and track a lightweight project
  • How Planner interfaces with Microsoft Teams
  • How to use the Tasks by Planner and “To Do”

This webinar is eligible for 1 PMI®PDU in the “Ways of Working” category of the Talent Triangle.

  1. re: the question at 36:05 – You can certainly import tasks into a Planner plan using Power Automate. It’s a little fussy, but it can be done. It is surprising there isn’t an easy way to do it.
