Trying to create a calendar(s) for personnel that work a rotating 12-hour shift that changes from week to week.
Week one they work Sunday off Monday – Tuesday, work Wednesday – Thursday, off Friday – Saturday.
Week two they work Monday – Tuesday, off Wednesday – Thursday, work Friday – Saturday -Sunday.
(One day of each week they work a 8-hour day to make the 40 hours per week)
How do you create calendar’s for these types of workers? We do some creative paperwork to get the 40 hours per week on the time sheets. I can send the times if needed.
David, I’m not sure what you are doing with the one day each week, but try this and see if it makes sense. Create two exceptions with start dates one week apart. For each exception, select the Details tab, set them up as weekly for every two weeks with the appropriate days off, and an end date that goes past the end date of the project. I’m not sure what you are doing with the one day but it can be set individually for each week if you set them up as a daily exception. Hope that helps…
