      I have a few users getting this message when trying to connect to PWA from Project Pro in order to open and update a project. The strange thing is that these users has been opening projects in Project Pro and posting updates to PWA successfully for months. They also can still go directly to PWA and log in.

      PROJECT WAS UNABLE TO CONNECT TO PROJECT WEB APP BECAUSE OF THE FOLLOWING ERROR: PROJECT WEB APP COULD NOT BE CONTACTED.

      Anyone else having this issue?

      John, if you are using Project Online you might want to check their subscription. If this is Project Server then I don’t have a good answer other than trying to understand the difference between those that can and those that can’t. Good luck..

      I believe we are Project Online given we are not running Project Server in house.

      That being the case then I would start by checking the subscription setting for those users. If that doesn’t work then create a ticket through O365 admin. Good luck…
