      My user in Germany is having MS Office stop working when trying to install Project Pro 2016. However other users (in India, US, and UK) have installed just fine.

      What could cause this?

      Best I can suggest is to uninstall and reinstall. Make sure you are notified of all messages. Sorry, best I can help. It could be 100 different environmental things.

      John, for any problems with Office products, I always run this tool: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=36852 – OFFCAT will tell you if your Office install is messed up, and sometimes even help you fix it.

      Thank you for your responses.

      My German user is now up and running … She got assistance from her IT Team. 🙂

      I will have to explore the Office troubleshooter that Jigs recommended for future reference.
