      There appears to be a file compatiblity issue with 2010 opening 2007 files.  I happen to have both version of the software on my pc and when I trying to open a 2007 file with 2010 I do not get any data coming across, all the fields are empty.

      Does anyone know anything about this issue?

      Hi Mike,

      Welcome to this Microsoft Project forum:)

      Please check that you have the latest Service Packs and updates installed. 2007 should be to SP3 and 2010 SP1.
