Secure hourly rates in MS project

Is there a way to secure resources hourly rates in MS project so only certain roles or groups can see them?

Hi,

The simple answer is No!  There is no way to prevent anyone who has access to your project from see everything.  However, there are ways round this.

You could just use generic costs for resources so that workers can’t compare their earnings.

You could copy the costings data to Excel and then zero all cost information.  Then, when you need to have costings, copy them back temporarily.

You could develop a macro to remove and then replace  costing data.  You could start with Jack Dahlgren’s macro web page: https://masamiki.com/project/macros.htm
