Wondering if anyone has had a requirement to show holidays on the Gantt Chart in Project 2010? Is it possible to show holidays with the resource name alongside and show the task also with their name alongside. Creating a separate task for holidays is a work around, but though there should be a better way? Can anyone help?
I too have this question. If I am using Enterprise calendars for each person to show their holidays, how can I then see whole teams of people and when they are on holiday? I don’t want to set up a dummy project for holidays as that would still allow people to book resources that are on holiday in other projects.
I found this add in, which can produce you a new report based on resources calendar. You can see the screenshots.
Let me know if this helped you!

Lavinia, I presume you are Marketing Project Manager for Power2Plan. So I guess you are the right address to ask for “Why don’t you offer free trial ?”. Regards, Ismet
Hi Ismet, that’s right. I’m the Marketing Project Manager. We do have a trial, sorry that I didn’t reply to you earlier. I’ll be happy to try it and give an opinion about it. 🙂 Regards, Lavinia
