I’m looking to adjust the timeframe of the timeline view so that it shows a specific date range and then I can choose the tasks to add to the timeline. Any suggestions on how to get the timeline window to adjust?
Also, I keep noticing the timescale on the timeline keeps oscillating between quarters/months with year/ months etc… Any suggestion on which view I can choose or does it choose it automatically?
Susan, good question. Project 2016 has enhanced timelines to provide for multiple timeline bars on the same time and date ranges for each timeline bar. Other than that you will need to copy it to another tool like PowerPoint and edit it from there. As far as the dates, it appears like the detail is dynamic. Hope that helps…
