Update Project Owner via Workflow?

Hello MPUG Community,

I am developing a workflow to create a project in our 2013 project server center by calling the project server interface web services and using the farm account to authenticate. All my projects though get created with the farm account as owner and I am not able to use a workflow to update the owner or owner ID in the workflow. I get an error that my resourceUID isn’t found when I query it from the resource center and try to replace the farm accountUID in the project ownerID field. I don’t want to create a lengthy post and I was mostly curious if anyone has done something like this or has any suggestions.

I found this article that says maybe there was a change last year preventing this. Maybe this post is out of desperation then.
